BoomerHelp Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

By using BoomerHelp, you agree to the following information, which includes our Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy. These terms apply to all services provided by BoomerHelp and govern your use of our website and video call services.
1. What We Do
BoomerHelp provides casual, non-therapeutic video chat sessions designed to offer companionship and a space to talk. We are not licensed therapists, counselors, or medical professionals. These sessions are not intended to diagnose, treat, or give advice on mental health or medical conditions. Our service is not designed to treat the disturbed or mentally ill.
2. Session Guidelines
- Each session is conducted via video call and lasts either 30 or 60 minutes, depending on your selection.
- Clients are expected to maintain respectful behavior towards BoomerHelp representatives when on calls. Harassment or abusive conduct of any kind directed towards our listeners may result in the session being ended early without refund.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
3. Privacy
- We do not record or store video sessions.
- While we prioritize client confidentiality, we reserve the right to report information to the appropriate authorities if you disclose involvement in any activity that we reasonably believe to be seriously illegal or poses an imminent threat to the safety of yourself or others. This does not apply to casual disclosures of minor or non-violent offenses.
- By using BoomerHelp, you consent to us taking simple notes to remember your story, milestones, and personal lore — so every conversation feels like picking up right where we left off
- Any personal information you provide (such as your name, contact details, or session notes taken by our listeners) will be kept private and never shared or sold.
4. Payments
- All sessions must be paid in advance via our payment platform.
- Prices are clearly listed at the time of booking. Additional fees (e.g. processing fees) may apply depending on the payment processor.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- You must notify us at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule a session.
6. No Refunds Policy
BoomerHelp maintains a general no-refund policy for all purchases. We may, at our sole discretion, offer a refund or credit in exceptional situations, but this is not guaranteed. By booking a session, you acknowledge that you understand and accept this policy.
7. Limitation of Liability
You understand that BoomerHelp is a casual listening service. We are not liable for any decisions you make as a result of our sessions. No positive outcomes guaranteed. BoomerHelp is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages, emotional distress, or consequences resulting from the use of our services.
8. Changes to Terms
BoomerHelp reserves the right to update or change these terms at any time. Continued use of our service after changes means you accept the new terms.
